Additional Projects in EHHS
Since 1972, the Child Development Center (CDC) has provided a diverse and inclusive educational environment to expand young minds and help students achieve academic success. It also serves as a professional development and research center for Kent State’s College of Education, Health and Human Services. This video was part of their 50th Anniversary fundraiser!
Becoming A Brave Teacher was a two-day summer workshop held at Kent State University for middle school & high school teachers, led by Dr. Todd S. Hawley and Dr. Sonya Wisdom. "The journey of becoming a brave teacher is one that you do not have to take alone. Brave teachers should seek out other brave teachers and help others to teach bravely as part of collaborative teaching communities."

Taika Waititi reads a hilarious letter about a speeding ticket
Developed as part of my M.A. in Visual Communication Design at Kent State, this project focuses on the intersection of sound design and motion graphics. I managed the full production lifecycle—from initial style frames and storyboarding to final motion tests and color scripting—to ensure a cohesive visual narrative. The objective was to express subtle tone shifts (humor and faux-seriousness) through precise type movement and a cool-to-warm gradient transition reflecting the narrative arc.

Six String Suicide | Integrated Visual Identity & Motion Design
Project Overview
Developed for a character-driven drama set in rural Ohio, this project involved creating a cohesive visual identity that bridges the gap between gritty, 70s-inspired nostalgia and modern "Midwest Emo" aesthetics. The narrative centers on themes of isolation and creative burnout, which I translated into a minimalist visual strategy.
Strategy & Execution
• Motion Design: Engineered a title sequence and closing credit roll in After Effects designed to reflect the film's raw, emotionally charged tone.
• Visual Language: Established a high-contrast motif using neon orange and green color palettes paired with shadow-heavy imagery and grunge-inspired typography to evoke a sense of atmospheric melancholy.
• Production Pipeline: Managed the full creative lifecycle under a condensed timeline, moving from initial storyboarding and styleframes to technical motion tests and final asset delivery.
